"Looking Good Dallas"

By TIm Matthews, Scoreboard Monthly

Like it or not, it’s a fact of life that we’re all getting older but as they say, it beats the alternative. Dallas is a city right up there with L.A., New York and Miami that has a strong sense of appearance. When the PGA Tour does its annual survey, the players always say that some of the prettiest women they see during the year are at the Byron Nelson Classic.

Businessman Blake Andrews realized how important the issue is to Dallas and came up with the idea for Cosmetic Care Concierge. The company started in early November and performs most non-invasive cosmetic procedures either in their offices or at your home. That’s the unique part of the idea. There are a lot of Day Spas around, as a matter of fact as Andrews says, “Spas in Dallas are like Starbucks, there seems to be one on almost every corner.” He realized that a lot of people, particularly men, were self-conscience about going to an office or spa to have treatments performed. Cosmetic Care Concierge uses only licensed professionals which isn’t always the case with other companies, “some people feel more comfortable in a professional surrounding, others prefer the privacy of their home. It’s all about making the customer comfortable,” says Sally Bradley a registered nurse with over 28 years of medical experience who performs many of the procedures at Cosmetic Care Concierge.

Andrews knows a few things about being around a successful business. He’s the son of Barry Andrews, owner of Andrews Distributing, one of the largest beer distributors in the country. “Growing up in the service industry made me realize people want quality and convenience so I set out to find the most elite team of nurse injectors for my staff,” says Andrews. “They have 45 years of experience in the cosmetic care industry. I feel that I have handpicked the best people in Dallas/Fort Worth.”

Cosmetic Care offers a wide variety of non-invasive procedures such as, lip augmentation, collagen and dermal filler injections, non-surgical facelifts and wrinkle treatment and removal. The company uses the very latest products including the neuromuscular blocking agent Dysport which was just approved by the FDA this past summer as well as dermal fillers Restylane and Perlane. Staying younger looking and fighting those lines on the forehead and around the eyes is easier, less painful and less expensive than you might think. To better know what I was writing about, I visited the CCC offices on Central Expressway to try it out. After explaining everything thoroughly the actual procedure on my forehead and around my eyes took only 10 minutes and other than a slight pinching sensation there was no pain at all. Within an hour there were no signs whatsoever that the procedure had been performed.

The cost is significantly less than having surgery. “People can feel better about themselves from about $300 and up,” says Andrews. Cosmetic Care Concierge has “Glamour Gatherings” for groups of women or men at their homes to get together, relax, learn more about the procedures and get injections if they chose.

Some people want to look younger for their self esteem while others think they need to stay competitive in a younger and younger workplace. Whatever the reasons are, Cosmetic Care Concierge has found a unique niche’ to help people accomplish those objectives and feel completely comfortable doing it.
